Xcell Automation offers four busbar upgrades for X2 stringers

PV equipment specialist, Xcell Automation, is now offering four busbar upgrade options for all its existing X2 stringers.

The upgrading option allows any X2 stringer to process solar cells with four busbars, the company said.

The new 4BB upgrading option gives users “stress-free changeover” capabilities to switch between 2-, 3-, and 4-busbar cells and is available as a field upgrade for interested customers using X2 stringing equipment from Xcell Automation and Komax Solar.

Multi-busbars reduce shadowing, cut resistive losses and lower material costs.
